CHILDREN OF BODOM Frontman Interviewed At WACKEN OPEN AIR Festival; Video Available

September 30, 2008

Just Say Rock conducted an interview with CHILDREN OF BODOM guitarist/vocalist Alexi Laiho after his band's performance at this year's Wacken Open Air festival, which was held July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany. Watch the five-minute chat below.

CHILDREN OF BODOM is currently on the road in North America with THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME.

The band's new album, "Blooddrunk", landed at position No. 22 on The Billboard 200 chart after selling over 19,000 copies in its first week of release.

Alexi Laiho and CHILDREN OF BODOM bassist Henkka Seppälä (a.k.a. Henkka T. Blacksmith) have launched a clothing line by the name of Wildchild Industries. According to a posting on the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes-Of-Bodom.com, "many ideas for their designs come from Alexi himself, hence the name of the company. Even though Alexi and Henkka are involved with Wildchild Industries and it goes by Alexi's stage name, their products are not CHILDREN OF BODOM merchandise or strictly related to the band in other ways."
